FIRE TRAINING PROGRAMME

The staff fire training programme involves three levels of training and demonstration in the use of the equipment within your premises.

Basic Staff Training Course

This course is designed to provide familiarisation and confidence to your staff, and is ideally suited to all production and administration staff.

D. Extinguisher capabilities and limitations of extinguisher operation
E. Extinguisher application
F. Maintenance and care requirements of fire hose reels
G. Fire hose reel application
H. VIDEO - Basic Fire Fighting Techniques (Optional)

II. PRACTICAL
A. Flammable liquid is added to trays supplied by our instructor. The liquid is then ignited, in turn, extinguishers are used to extinguish the fire. members of your staff will be encouraged to use each extinguisher in order to gain confidence in their ability to extinguish a fire quickly.
B. A training session is of one (1) hour duration and is conducted by an experienced instructor.
C. All extinguishers are supplied by our instructor or, if you desire, your own extinguishers may be used.

It is recommended that each member of your staff would attend the training programme at twelve (12) monthly intervals. The maximum benefit will be derived if the group size is limited to no more than twenty (20) people. If required, a more ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMME is available.
Arrangements can be made to carry out the training programme at your selected location and at a convenient time.

Advanced Fire Training

Designed for those members of your staff who require a greater understanding of the potential hazards and fire fighting equipment "USE" and "TECHNIQUE".

When the initial response is vital a team of well trained fire fighters in the initial stages can be the difference between extinguishment and disaster, we can tailor a programme to your individual requirements.

Evacuation Training

Ensuring personnel and visitors swift evacuation is the first and most important step in ensuring nil casualties in an emergency. This Training is a result of well planned and implemented procedures, we can assit you in this programme.
